Belong by Zander Ford

I Sense Belonging

To Earth

To this crazy whirlwind

Of beautiful Humanity

Beautiful Life

When she bows to me

I bow back

In honor, reverence, love, and appreciation

For we are

Actually

One

Drop the ‘special’

Drop the ‘different’

Drop the fear-based separation

And embrace shared

Shared experience

Shared emotions

Shared feelings of false separation

Let your shields down

And see,

You are

Me

Passage Master by Zander Ford

I died yesterday.

And the day before.

When I woke up

You were there

Smiling

And said

‘I’ll see you tomorrow.’

Again, the rolling thunder of my thoughts

Came screaming at me

And I grabbed its mist

Took its sound

And owned its power

Now,

When I wake at night

I am not alone

Anymore

Relating by Zander Ford

The rain

She falls

And I see

Tears streaking window pains

Blurring the landscape

So truth can settle

Thru her own way

A mixing of chaos

With thoughtscapes

Thoughtscapes with self

And self with the sky

A big blue marble

Of time

Dimming to relate

And relating to escape

To find comfort

In

This

Present moment

Baby faces by Zander Ford

I arrived naked

Here

And then you put clothes,

Costumes

On my baby body

First you wanted a beautiful perfect baby boy

So out comes the blue

The rattle

The toys

And the cute face

Then you wanted a partner

Someone to feel your sorrow, your pain,

To make you feel safe

To make you feel important

And so I hugged you

Learned to say I love you

To console you as you held me to your chest

And ...

Then, you wanted a Rock

Someone who would always be there to comfort you

To mend your sorrows

To need you

To impress you with their perfection

And then I broke

And you still held the perfect

You still held all the old costumes

In my bedroom closet of your mind

And I

Left

You standing

Alone

To find

Your own way

To

Peace

As I find

Mine

Rational Eyes by Zander Ford

He thought and thought

Fought and fought

Until, he had no fight left

And what remained?

A man gone insane?

Yes.

And, he let that be OK

The death of another ego

A flower dropped

A tree born

Divine Requests by Zander Ford

The Earth carries me lighter

Let these heavy legs thud loud

Upon soil blessed with light

And let this head be still and silent

Restful every night

Let this heart

Sit cradled in love

And let blessings within

Rain all around from above

Taking Punches by Zander Ford

You touched me deeply

I fought back

You held me

Taking those punches

Between my tears

Why, I asked, do the sore places

Hurt?

Why, I asked, do I fight back?

Why, I asked, do you hold me

With such complete devotion…

Then I realized….

I realize, I’d do the same for you

Anytime

So many to hold by Zander Ford

And she held me

As I cried

Delicate streams of yesterdays

Fountains of tomorrows

I wept gently in her arms

Cradles of Acceptance

Loving

Joy

Openness

Kindness

Awareness

She held my Body

While my Spirit wept

Then she held my Spirit

While my Body crumbled

Those thought-forms that created

Yesterdays pains

No-longer cultivated

No longer needed.

And now

I stand

Ready

To be those arms

For others.

So

Many

Others….

Razing the Bar by Zander Ford

He walked into a bar

And said

‘I declare you all to be free!’

And so it was

They raised their glasses and said ‘cheers’

He left

Returned the next day

And said

‘I declare you all are love!’

Cheers...

He left

He returned the following day and said

‘I declare you all to be God!’

Confusion.

He left

Returned the following day

‘I declare you are free.’

Tears

Taste by Zander Ford

She tasted me

And I let her

I let curiosity overtake my walls

Scale them neatly

In one leap

Effortless

As a Doe

Hopping a fence

For tender shoots

Of springtime tendril passion

And then I was gone

A distant memory of my distant memories

All lost in her sense of inquiry

Lost in her desire to know more

Her desire to learn

What unfolding scents may be held

Deeper

Those places bees would know existed

Normally hidden To us Humans

The crevices of sweet nectar

Sex

Blood

Desire

Art

Passion

Longing

Nature’s wonderful messengers of motivation

Her seed-pods of craving and creativity

Delicious tempting tastes

Awaiting

Eager lips

To explore

Soul’s Night Light by Zander Ford

Sometimes,

When the light

Cracks

You open

All

There is to do

Is lay down

And stare

At your past mistakes

Transformed

Into

At all the learnings

You’ve come here to acquire

Sometimes

When the light cracks you open

Sleepless nights

Keep internal eyes

Peeled like oranges

Staring at the landscape

Of your tissue’s dreams

All

There is

To do

Is to slip

Into spirit world

And let it happen

The Artist by Zander Ford

Be the artist

You are the canvas

And paint

Tap into your resources

To realize

The implicit beauty

You were brought

To create

Yes, pain happens

Yes, pleasure too

In the end

These are not you

These are experiences

That make life interesting

These are tools

For you to

Enjoy

The art

You make

Radiant Being of Blessings by Zander Ford

Yes

You may rest now

Folded in the warmth of

My hands

Take ease

And let your burden sink

Deeply rest

In my lovingness

Allow my radiance

Golden rays of life

Reach around you

Envelope that which is sore

Those parts within

That ache

Let me take them

Hold within my benevolence

My light

And sow release

So that you may understand

Once more

Peace

Make music by Zander Ford

Let

This body

Teach me

As

An instrument

To be learned

To be

Played

With creativity

In its own dimensions

It’s own boundaries

And share

Beautiful music

With my family

Of life

Heart Spaces by Zander Ford

Hello old friend

I have returned

After long journeys

To distant shores

I’ve learned other languages

Other ways

Other customs

And ways of perceiving

I come back now

As teacher

As friend

To share with you

If you’ll listen

Again

There seems to be more here

Than our minds can grasp

More here than logic

Locks with its rusty hasp

Some deeper river

Subterranean courseway

A connection beyond

The wrong way

Or rightway

I return to you now

Human and holly

Knowing the purpose

Of this story

Dwell in your tissue

Dwell in your joy

Remember your sorrows

As a little boy

Remember them with understanding

A tributary of love

Coursed from that Earth river

A gift from above

Let it flow

And then...

You too

Will finally know.

Smile and breathe by Zander Ford

Patience and persistence, routine and guillotine

The words come from far off places

Distant lands

Familiar faces

Sourced in depths of me

Depths of you

Depths of humanity

Deeply buried wisdom

Excavated with breath

Sinking into body,

Here I find rest

Smile

Breathe

Listen

Accept

Smile

Repeat

Gibbous Air by Zander Ford

She slipped down

Into her satin bed

The moon sinking into

Her lover’s ocean

He took a bite of her

That morning

A partial eclipse

Of her gibbous Air

Borrowed his light back

With the help of earth

And The Earth

In return

Sent blessings of calm

Ripples of still air

Delight

That warm kind of texture

That only tropical paradises

Know

That warm kind of texture

They call

The after-glow

The moon dipped her head

In sweet reverence

An appreciation

Of his patience

Marking Stick by Zander Ford

A new Birth

Composite holograph

Ever emerging

From within

Memories of Self

We are our memories

And we are much more

We are the composite programming

Of our experiences

And our Ancestor’s experiences

This depth

This unfathomable depth

Of all Consciousness

Reaches in

Out

And around

To proclaim its own form

We call Life
